STORY:
The play proposes an explanation of Karl Marx’s theory of Mais Valia, through several economic situations (a car dealership, a barber shop, a congress of economists, an open-market, etc.) where four workers (Wretches 1, 2, 3 and 4) face four capitalists with day-to-day problems (unemployment, demands for raises in pay, strikes, etc.)
